Privacy policy

Your child’s artwork

Colouring and saved artwork stay on the device. The iOS app stores saved drawings and downloaded pictures in its local app storage; the website stores saved artwork in the browser. We do not upload children’s drawings to our servers. Removing the app or clearing browser storage may remove that artwork. Device backups are controlled by your device and account settings.

No child accounts or advertising

Little Colour has no child accounts, advertising, in-app purchases or embedded analytics tools. It does not request access to your camera, contacts or location.

Daily pictures and hosting

The app downloads public colouring pictures from littlecolour.co.uk when online. Network requests necessarily pass technical information, including an IP address, to our hosting provider, IONOS, to deliver and secure the service. IONOS states that its Web Hosting visitor information is anonymised when collected and retained for eight weeks. This can include the requested file, time, browser, operating system, device type and anonymised IP address. We do not use this information for advertising or profiling children.

See IONOS’s Web Hosting data-processing information for its published handling of this information.

Sharing

In the iOS app, sharing is behind a grown-up check. A grown-up chooses the destination through the device’s sharing options. Once shared, the recipient or service’s own privacy practices apply. The website also lets you download or print artwork locally.

Contact and your choices

If a grown-up contacts support, we use their email address and message to answer the enquiry. Please do not send children’s personal information. Contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of information you have provided to us. Local artwork can be removed using the device or browser’s storage controls; please save any pictures you want to keep first.

Changes

We will update this page if our data handling changes.
